Welcome!
I live in La Louvière near Mons.
If you want I can invite you next time I brew but I don't know when it'll be

Sounds good! I would definitely come help out. I just bought a house in Baudor and i upgraded my setup to a rims system (i havent brewed on it yet

). I have to add a 40 amp differntial to my eletrical box so I have not been able to brew in the new house yet. So i have to find someone who is good with electricty to add the differentiel.
Wouldn t it be easier to brew with gas for energy?
This is what i need to install at my house and i will have my brewery back up

Bonjour et bienvenue chez nous

For your breaker? Why didn't you install it in your control box? I do it like that. And it's more secure for me. In any brewing place, you are protected.
And electricity is Wonderful

Why not but I think the problem here is the needed Power for the 5.5kW heating element.
To use it you need a breaker of 5500/230 = ±25A or more.
So if you put your breaker into a cabinet that you plug into a socket protected by a 20A breaker, it will be useless. Moreover, your installation can burn.
Also don't forget to use 4mm² cable minimum, 6mm² should be better to avoid cable warwing.

It's not a breaker (that will switch off if the need of electricity is over the limit) but a "différentiel" which switch off when there is a loss of 30mA on the alimentation.
Thus, the différentiel will work. But I'm not an electrician

And put it near the installation. In the control box is better for me.
